An elliptical trainer involves all muscle groups (lower limbs, upper limbs, chest, back and core). So the greater the range of motion, the harder these muscles work, resulting in greater cardio intensity. This must be coupled with the level of resistance you put on. This 500 elliptical has a step length of 33cm, which means you'll be able to get the most out of your workout while still getting the most out of it!
INERTIA AFFECTS PEDALING COMFORT
At Decathlon, we are committed to providing our customers and users with reliable, comprehensible information. Many players on the market communicate on "inertia", "flywheel" or even "flywheel mass", making it difficult to compare products. We have decided to communicate on the actual weight of the flywheel, which has more impact on kinetic energy and therefore pedaling comfort. The 500 elliptical's flywheel weighs 7kg. Really!
THE CONSOLE, YOUR VIRTUAL COACH
To support you during your workouts, the EL500 elliptical trainer shows you 6 functions: calories burned, distance covered, workout time, speed, heart rate (thanks to the Hand Pulse sensors) and cadence.
And in total, you have 9 training programs per level at your disposal (3 dedicated to caloric expenditure, 3 others to fitness and finally 3 for endurance). A great way to stay on track!
A CONNECTED ELLIPTICAL!
To motivate, challenge or entertain yourself, connect your device to Econnected or Kinomap compatible applications.
With Econnected, set a weekly target for the time, distance or calories you want to burn: your performance is recorded and you keep track of your statistics.
With Kinomap, run through real scenery, in total synchronization with your device. At your own pace or in challenge mode, alone or with the Kinomap community, enjoy a unique experience.
MEASURE YOUR HEART RATE
Your EL500 elliptical is supplied with heart rate sensors. After a few seconds, your heart rate will be displayed on the console screen. It can also be used with a cardio belt (not supplied) which connects to the console. The Hand-Pulse function (heart rate measurement by hand) is not permitted for pacemaker wearers.
OPTIONS THAT MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!
Your elliptical features a range of settings, including pedal position adjustment (close to the handlebars, in the middle or further away from the handlebars). This way, the elliptical adapts perfectly to your morphology, allowing you to enjoy your workouts in maximum comfort.
This elliptical also features shortcut buttons to adjust resistance directly on the central handlebars, making your workouts even smoother.
MOVE YOUR ELLIPTICAL EASILY
Your elliptical is equipped with front-mounted castors. To move it, stand facing it. Use one foot to lock it in place and press down on the fixed handlebars to tip it onto the castors. Then move it gently in the desired direction.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
Decathlon and Domyos pay particular attention to the follow-up of our products. We manage the after-sales service for our products ourselves, and ensure that spare parts are available for 10 years, so that your product lasts as long as possible!
The product comes with a 2-year warranty on parts and labor, and a 5-year warranty on the metal structure.
