Why a relaxation mask?
The eye pillow lets you switch off during the relaxation phase. The weight of the flaxseed gently presses against the eyeballs, shifting them from light to dark. Focusing on the breath, the circulation of energy and the rotation of consciousness in your body will give you a real moment of relaxation.
One or 2 drops of lavender essential oil or seeds on the mask (not in contact with the eyes) will help anchor you and enhance your sense of well-being.
How do I use an Eye Pillow?
The eye pillow applies gentle pressure to your eyes. It allows you to relax and unwind at the end of a Nidra yoga or Restorative yoga session. It relaxes facial muscles and promotes blood circulation. It's also ideal for meditation. You can place the mask in the fridge for a fresh effect, or in the microwave for a few seconds to create a gentle warming effect.
