Design & Conception
This bridle has been designed with sobriety in mind. Its chic, classic style makes it a perfect addition to any outfit. The snaffle's design is meticulous, with regular stitching slightly raised to highlight the product. The conwey buckles also give this model plenty of character!
Anatomical & frontal design
The lower part of the headpiece is pre-shaped to free up the back of the ears, which are highly innervated and therefore have a major impact on the relaxation of the horse's mouth. In the same vein, we've designed a straight browband, slightly slimmed on both sides to avoid pressure on the nerve endings above the rocker and on the temple.
Reduces irritation
The areas most subject to pressure are lined with soft foam padding to enhance the horse's comfort: headpiece, noseband, browband.
Combos reins
We recommend you choose the silicone reins available in brown and black. However, this bridle is compatible with any of our reins if you're looking for a different rein finish.
Tailor
The 580 nets are available in two sizes: Cob(CS) and Horse(FS). The CS size is suitable for small-headed horses and D ponies, while the FS size is suitable for most riding horses. Its size is rather large, thanks to its many adjustment possibilities for medium and large horses !
How to check that your bridle fits?
A few simple gestures are all you need to check the adjustment of your thread. You can pass 1 finger between the chamfer and the browband to check that it's not pressing too hard on the nerve zones detailed above. You can then pass 1 finger between the headpiece and the back of the ears to check that it's not pressing too hard on the auricular area. For the first few uses, check that no irritation appears on your horse's head.
A well-tuned noseband
Adjusting the noseband has a major impact on your horse's relaxation. We recommend that you pass one finger between the muzzle and the noseband and 2 fingers between the noseband and the apophysis. If you have any doubts about the fit, don't hesitate to ask a professional for advice. The nose-band is not always necessary, depending on the horse's needs.
Maintenance tips
You can wash the lining easily with water and maintain the outer leather like your usual bridles with glycerine soap.
