TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Stability :

Our rider designers decided to integrate an under-trough on the bridle to provide an extra point of stability, as this is lost at the mouth. An ergo located on the rear padding of the noseband is wedged into the horse's trough, so that the bridle doesn't turn and stays in place throughout the session. What's more, the bridge headpiece also improves balance at the nape of the neck.

Morphological adaptability :

Our designers worked on two important points: firstly, they widened the noseband to distribute pressure over a larger surface area. Secondly, they worked on a preformed bridge headpiece at ear level to free up the nuchal area.

Limiting irritation:

When using the bridle for the first time, check that there is no irritation on your horse's head. Signs such as the absence of hair or a slight sore can alert you to the bridle's incorrect adjustment.

Concept and design :

The bitless bridle has been designed with flowing lines perfectly adapted to the horse's anatomy, directed to areas of sensitivity. Its black leather and gold brass buckle add a touch of chic.

Pressure points :

The pressure of a bitless bridle is distributed differently from that of a conventional bridle. With a classic bridle, pressure points are mainly divided between the mouth, the bridge of the nose and the nape of the neck. With a bitless bridle, on the other hand, pressure is concentrated on the muzzle and neck.

Tips from our bridle fitteuse:

On the bridle's headpiece you'll notice a symbol. Underneath is an NFC chip. This has been implanted so that it can be scanned by bringing the top of your phone close to it, then click on the link that appears to open it. You'll then find a video of our bridle fitteuse which explains in detail the specifics of the bitless bridle, as well as how to properly adjust and adapt it to your horse's head.

How to check that your bridle fits?

At first glance, there are ribbed areas on the horse's head which, when put under pressure, can impair comfort and performance. The nuchal and auricular zones are among them. To check that the bridle fits properly, pass 1 finger between the headpiece and the back of the ears to make sure it's not pressing too hard. In addition, the bridle uprights must pass behind the zygomatic process to avoid the ribbed parts of this area.

How to check that your net is properly adjusted:

With this bridle, you can adjust the post, the underlay and the noseband. Although the lines of the bridle are different, it can be adjusted in the same way as a classic bridle. To adjust the uprights, the same measurement of 2 fingers below the zygomatic process is required. For the noseband, we advise you to be able to pass 2 fingers between the noseband and the horse's muzzle.

Directions for use:

You can use the bitless bridle as a halter, but we strongly advise against using it for transport. What's more, we advise you to test the bridle in an enclosed area (riding arena, arena, etc.) when you first use it, so that if your horse reacts badly or has a problem, you'll be in a better position to deal with the situation.

Complementarity :

The bitless bridle can be adapted to all Fouganza reins.

Care instructions :

To preserve your netting, we recommend regular care with glycerine soap applied to a sponge dampened with lukewarm water. You can then moisturize your leather with grease applied to a household or special leather cloth. If you feel that your leather is rough and dry, you can complete this maintenance with moisturizing milk, which will deeply nourish your leather.
