The tear: what is it?
On this net, we have a specific cut-out imitating leaves for greater realism. However, these holes can be weakened if a branch gets caught in them: this is known as an incipient tear. To characterize the resistance of our fabric in this scenario, we carry out an incipient tear test. Specifically, we look at the level of force required for the fabric to tear: on this model, we're at 89 Newtons.
A long-lasting net
When we speak of a fabric made from triple ripstop yarn, we need to bear in mind that 3 yarns are twisted together, instead of the usual 2. This considerably improves the fabric's mechanical strength. What's more, this camouflage netting is resistant to potential fabric degradation caused by the sun's rays.
Cut-outs in the net: but what for?
This camouflage net features 3D cut-outs all over its surface. These "holes", neither too large (to avoid game spotting you) nor too small (so you can't follow game movements), give the whole net a more natural look, especially in light winds. All in all, these 3D cut-outs ensure better mimicry of different biotopes.
