How do I store the MT900 filter?
Store in a cool, clean, dry place after drying the product completely.
If you find that water no longer passes through the filter, or only with great difficulty, please follow these instructions:
- Immerse the filter in clean, clear water for around 15 minutes to dissolve any dirt that may have adhered to the surface of the filter membrane;
- Then rinse the filter under clean, clear water. Its performance should now be restored.
What is the filtration level of the MT900 filter?
We use a hollow-fiber filter with pores approximately 0.2 microns in diameter.
It removes:
- Bacteria (e.g. E. coli) 99.9999%;
- Protozoa (e.g. Cryptosporidium sp.) 99.9%;
- Micro-organisms.
DOES NOT FILTER VIRUSES.
The filter has a filtration capacity of up to 1000 liters. This is highly dependent on the quality of the water filtered.
