Why mount your basketball hoop on the Tarmak wall mount?
Fixed but flexible! This wall mount allows you to retain flexibility while securing your basketball hoop to the wall. Several play heights are easily adjustable, ideal for the whole family. Depending on the model, some brackets also offer an offset so you don't have to play too close to the wall. The TARMAK SB100 (960586) and SB700 (8547161) backboards are all compatible with the TARMAK wall mount, which offers 3 play heights.
How do I mount a basketball hoop or backboard on the wall?
The fixing system for a basketball hoop depends mainly on the material of your wall. If in doubt, contact a DIY professional.
If you want the official height, the hoop must be located at 3.05m.
We also advise you not to hang yourself from the hoop, as this will weaken the fastening system.
Which ball to play basketball with?
The size of the ball depends on the age or sex of the player.
Baby basketball: sizes 1 to 3.
Girls and boys under 10: size 5.
Girls over 10 or women and boys 10 to 12: size 6.
Boys over 12 and men: size 7.
If you want a very durable ball, opt for a rubber ball. If you want a ball with a good touch, a leather or synthetic ball is what you need.
