TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Bilge levels

This binding offers 3 levels of wedge:
- 0mm height when the ground is flat
- 26.5mm height when the ground slopes a little (without rotation of the binding) Easy handling of the wedge with the stick.
- 40mm height when the slope is very steep (with rotation of the binding, handling to be done by hand)

Leash

Sold with one leash per binding to attach the shoe to the binding.

Rear heel safety device

The elasticity of the 10mm heel piece helps to slightly dampen binding deformation in the event of a heavy landing during a fall or a downhill jump.

ATK Snow Pack Proof system

This system prevents any accumulation of snow and ice under the front part of the binding. You'll never have any trouble making the transition from ascent to descent. And it's all made of carbon to lighten the binding and achieve that light 240g weight.

Using the fastener on the ascent

Place your shoe on your forefoot at an angle, and once your shoe ergos (metal holes) are opposite the binding pins (metal cones), apply pressure. The front binding is now clipped in place.
For ascent:
- Raise the orange plastic part all the way to the top to lock the binding in place.
- Rotate the heel piece so as not to clip the back of the shoe.
- Rotate the heel piece to find the right wedge height.

Using the DESCENT fastener

For lowering:
- Leave the orange plastic part at the bottom to allow it to be released in the event of a fall.
- Swivel the heel retainer so that it clips onto the back of the shoe.
- Clip on with a snap of the heel.

Fastener release standard

Please note that many touring ski bindings are not standardized.
The binding is released by a spring.
The standard is represented by a scale called DIN.
In theory, an 80 kg skier will set his binding to the scale indicated 8. In reality, he will have to take into account his level of skiing, his physical condition and the snow conditions.

Knife compatibility

ATK's Release bindings can be used with WEDZE, ATK and Dynafit knives.

Warranty

2 years

STOCK TIPS

In summer, leave the front part of your bindings in the up position so as not to stress the springs.
