Program and practice area

The SNB 100 snowboard binding is a traditional binding, designed for discovering snowboarding and accompanying progression, on piste and off-piste.
It offers all the basic functions essential for a good snowboard binding (comfort, support & stiffness for good board handling), but without any additional options to make it as accessible as possible. There's no spoiler tilt adjustment, and the strap screws require the use of a screwdriver.

Possible settings

The Snb 100 binding allows you to fine-tune the centering of your feet on the board thanks to:
- The 3 possible positions for the screws on the disc: 18 mm of adjustment between min and max positions
- The spoiler adjustment from front to back: +12 mm of additional adjustment.
The boot must protrude from the board at both toe and heel.
The straps can then be adjusted to the boot using the pre-drilled positions of the strap fasteners.

Opening system

Turn Strap System: the strap is mounted on a hinge which causes it to swing outwards as soon as you remove your foot. This means that when you put on your shoes, the space is free to insert the shoe into the binding without any discomfort. This also avoids crushing the strap and hooks with the shoe.

Stance, binding spacing

The stance is the distance between the 2 bindings, measured in cm. It can be adapted to your own morphology, but all snowboards have a recommended position for the bindings (recommanded stance, materialized by a mark between the binding inserts). If you feel the need to move your feet further apart or closer together on the board, do the test to see if you're actually better off.

How can I vary the distance between my feet on the board?

For on- and off-piste boards:
If you want to tighten your feet, it's best to move the front binding back only.
Conversely, if you want to spread your feet, it's best to move the rear binding back. The aim is to be a little further back to make better turns on the piste and float more in powder.
For freestyle boards (symmetrical):
It's best to move the 2 bindings to stay centered on the board.

What angles should I put on my snowboard bindings?

For a piste-freeride program, we recommend +18° at the front and 0° at the rear. For all-round freestyle use, we recommend +18° and -6°. The rear foot opening allows you to switch. For pure freestyle use, don't hesitate to choose completely symmetrical angles +15° and -15°, for example.
The choice of angles on bindings is very personal. Don't hesitate to see what others are doing and give it a try. You may be in for a pleasant surprise!

Don't forget to center your boot on your board!

Disc bindings with 4 screws can slide along an axis and generally have 5 possible positions. This adjustment is used to center the boot on the snowboard and prevent the foot from protruding too far (otherwise you're bound to fall!). You need to ensure that your boot protrudes equally on both sides of the board. You can also rotate the disc by 90° to add more or less stance than provided by the inserts. In this case, you lose the ability to center the board laterally.

What size should I choose for my snowboard bindings?

M = sizes 36 to 41 (Europe)
L = sizes 42 to 47 (Europe)
However, as you try a boot on with your own foot, we strongly recommend that you try the bindings on with your snowboard boots, as the same boot size may have a different volume depending on the brand.

Compatibility with Burton Channel boards

The Burton snowboard brand has its own binding mounting system: the Channel. The binding is screwed onto 2 mobile inserts, which are present when the board is purchased.
Our discs allow this binding to be mounted on the channel, as the holes make this possible.
However, the screws supplied with our discs are not compatible in diameter. The Burton insert is also different from the rest of the market. You'll need to buy Burton screws.
