TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Description

The NEXUS all-terrain binding is uncomplicated and uncompromising on performance. The molded composite base and PowerStrap ExoFit fasteners provide good support and are very comfortable for all-day riding. The UniBack with EVA cushioning provides additional comfort. The extra width is fantastic for stability, and of course, the SpeedEntry remains its best asset for a great day on snow.

H-flange and MICRON series

The H & Micron series are designed with a tough, slightly more forgiving POM plastic composite that also features our oscillating shape. Perfect for off-road riding, they provide a stable platform and easy entry and exit.

Spoiler UNIBACK

The UNIBACK is a lightweight, one-piece spoiler that tilts fully for easy entry and exit. It also features comfortable EVA pads to reduce pressure on your leg.

FUSION EXO-FIT straps

The FUSION EXO-FIT strap features an exoskeleton that wraps around EVA foam, all in 3D to adapt perfectly to your foot, offering excellent ankle support and energy transmission.

LSR loops

These innovative Locking Slap Ratchet (LSR) hooks give you the option of putting on and taking off your bindings as you wish. With SpeedEntry, they lock into place to ensure optimum strap tension.

Stance, binding spacing

The stance is the distance between the 2 bindings, measured in cm. It can be adapted to your own morphology, but all snowboards have a recommended position for the bindings (recommanded stance, materialized by a mark between the binding inserts). If you feel the need to move your feet further apart or closer together on the board, do the test to see if you're actually better off.

How can I vary the distance between my feet on the board?

For on- and off-piste boards:
If you want to tighten your feet, it's best to move the front binding back only.
Conversely, if you want to spread your feet, it's best to move the rear binding back. The aim is to be a little further back to make better turns on the piste and float more in powder.
For freestyle boards (symmetrical):
It's best to move the 2 bindings to stay centered on the board.

What angles should I put on my snowboard bindings?

For a piste-freeride program, we recommend +18° at the front and 0° at the rear. For all-round freestyle use, we recommend +18° and -6°. The rear foot opening allows you to switch. For pure freestyle use, don't hesitate to choose completely symmetrical angles +15° and -15°, for example.
The choice of angles on bindings is very personal. Don't hesitate to see what others are doing and give it a try. You may be in for a pleasant surprise!

Don't forget to center your boot on your board!

Disc bindings with 4 screws can slide along an axis and generally have 5 possible positions. This adjustment is used to center the boot on the snowboard and prevent the foot from protruding too far (otherwise you're bound to fall!). You need to ensure that your boot protrudes equally on both sides of the board. You can also rotate the disc by 90° to add more or less stance than provided by the inserts. In this case, you lose the ability to center the board laterally.
