The first disassembled rifle scabbard from Solognac
Carry your shotgun in complete safety, whether on the road or at the post - that's what this disassembled shotgun scabbard is all about. With an external length of 83cm and weighing 800g, it allows you to store your weapon separately: barrels and fore-end on one side, stock on the other. With this model, our engineer and designer have thought first and foremost of the hunter who wants to store his rifle without damaging it, particularly for use in small safes.
Designed to carry your weapon in complete safety
This scabbard is reinforced on the outside, on both sides, with 15mm thick dual-density foam. Inside, protection is equally optimal: another 15mm foam separates the 2 compartments, preventing damage to weapon parts from contact and/or impact. The scabbard opens and closes with a zipper, and a clip-on flap at the base adds further protection.

How does the foam in this scabbard protect your weapon?
On the sides, in concrete terms, this scabbard is fitted with a specific foam that offers maximum protection for your rifle. We've opted for a combination of 10mm polyethylene (PE) foam and 5mm polyurethane (PU) foam to create this 15mm-thick, dual-density foam. PU is a highly resistant material used in a variety of sectors. Your rifle is as precious as the apple of your eye, so give it the protection it deserves.
Space-saving and more discreet: two essential concepts that guided us in developing this sheath.
Our scabbard can be slung over the shoulder (the strap coming over your shoulder is padded for greater comfort when carrying), or carried by hand thanks to two handles. And here's a big plus: using a disassembled rifle scabbard means greater discretion! Imagine you live in the city, and to get to your vehicle parked on the street you have to walk a few yards past passers-by. By using this scabbard, you're much more at ease.
The scabbard: an essential accessory for carrying your hunting weapon
In fact, this is a basic point of regulation: on all private or public land, any weapon may only be transported unloaded and holstered, or dismantled on board vehicles (source: oncfs.gouv.fr). Similarly, hunters who have to walk for several minutes to get back to their post, and who want to protect their weapon effectively, will find the ideal sheath here.
And what about the finish?
As you'll have noticed, this sheath is an "authentic" model. A mottled green/olive color, complemented by contrasting yokes, gives this model a noble, robust look. An exterior pocket for storing small accessories has been designed, and can be closed with 2 snap fasteners. The double metal zipper can be padlocked, and the outer fabric has a water-repellent treatment (in the event of rain, water slides over the fabric without penetrating) to prevent the rifle from getting pricked.
