Gloves specifically designed for Muay-Thaï (Thai boxing)
Muay-Thai is a special kind of boxing: grabs and throws are allowed during sparring. It is therefore common for boxers to seize the trunk or the nape of the neck.
To facilitate these seizures, the gloves must be soft and flexible. Thanks to the glove's foam-layer construction, opening and closing the hand is made easier.
In addition, the sleeve is very short, making it easier to "bend" the wrist.
What accessories should I use with this muay-thai glove?
To limit odors and moisture in your gloves, consider using strips (ref: 8558269) or under-gloves (ref: 8766117). Easy to put on and wash, they extend the life of your gloves by limiting unpleasant odors.
You can also use glove dryers (ref: 8600604 ) to allow your gloves to dry properly from one session to the next. By airing your gloves, you limit unpleasant odors associated with humidity.
How do I choose the right size for my boxing gloves?
In order to be adapted to your hand, boxing gloves are available in several sizes.
These sizes are related to your size more than to your hand size.
Women:
From 45 to 55kg -> 10oz.
From 55 to 65kg -> 12oz.
From 65 to 75kg -> 14oz.
> 75kg ->16oz.
Men:
From 55 to 65kg -> 10oz.
From 65 to 80kg -> 12oz.
From 80 to 95kg -> 14oz.
> 95kg -> 16oz.
