TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Heat

In wet polar conditions, feather insulation is not recommended by our 66°Nord polar guides. Wet feathers stick together, reducing the glove's warmth. We therefore chose an insulation lining made from 100% fine polyester fibers with a very high insulating capacity. It's also a fast-drying material.

Trimming and layering

The 2 gloves are designed to be worn together.
However, our design team also designed each glove to be worn on its own.
The cut is deliberately wide to maintain an insulating air pocket around the fingers.
For those who are a bit chilly, don't choose a glove that's too tight!

Ease of use

All tightening and threading straps are oversized, making them easy to handle even with thick winter gloves in the other hand. It's also through these details that our design team has carefully sought to improve your grip, to facilitate your practice of Arctic trekking.

STOCK TIPS

- Store in a dry, well-ventilated place.
- Do not machine wash or wash at high temperatures to avoid damaging the leather.

TESTS

To help you equip yourself effectively, Forclaz , in partnership with Decathlon Research, offers recommended temperatures of use for extreme-cold products. Tests are carried out in climatic chambers to measure the thermal insulation of products on a mannequin. These results are supplemented by physiological studies carried out by Decathlon Research teams to calculate how hot/cold it feels, as in real-life use.
