Inflation
2 inflation systems:
1/ by manual release: pull the red handle on the left of the chest to trigger instant inflation by compressed gas cartridge.
2/ by mouth inflation: blow fully into the pipette on the right and, in 3 exhalations, the vest will be fully inflated to 50N.
Deflation
Pull on the red strap on the right shoulder to open the valve.
Deflate the vest by pressing on it with your hand.
This valve also acts as a pressure relief valve to protect the product from overinflation.
Change gas cartridge.
The gas cartridge (between 10gr. and 12gr.) is for single use only.
To replace it:
1/ access the location (left chest)
2/ unscrew the used cartridge (metal recycling)
3/ pull the metal lever all the way down (IMPORTANT to avoid hitting the new cartridge)
4/ replace the green plastic indicator
5/ screw a new cartridge into the red strap.
Tailor
For the best choice of size, measure your chest circumference and respect the following size guidelines:
Size S: 88 to 91cm
Size M: 92 to 95cm
Size L: 96 to 103cm
Size XL: 104 to 113cm
