Important usage restrictions
The decree of October 5, 2020 on the collective hunting of big game stipulates that hunters and companions must wear a fully fluorescent top garment, which does not include the two-tone vest.
This vest is suitable for hunting small game, but should not be used for hunting big game in battues.
An EPI-certified hunting vest for greater safety during your hunting outings
This vest, which is standardized as "Personal Protective Equipment", must be worn over any other garment and must not be covered by other items such as a parka or backpack. Protection is no longer guaranteed in the absence of natural light. This product is PPE for non-professional use. Please note that wearing this garment does not authorize the wearer to disregard the safety codes in force during hunting activities.
A vest that has evolved thanks to your comments and opinions on the brown 900 vest
The classic brown 900 vest quickly proved popular with users. And we quickly received feedback for potential upgrades to the model: you wanted a fluorescent version! Our teams took your feedback into account, and we're now pleased to present the 920 vest with fluorescent orange front and back panels. We've also changed the chest and waist straps for easier adjustment.
Your feedback has also led to a further improvement: a slot for a camelbak-type water pouch.
On this new model, we've gone one step further. Even though this garment has 2 bottle holders, many of you asked for a large rear pocket to carry a water pouch (not included). Now you've got it. This pocket is zippered and separate from the carry case. It contains an inner strap for securely hanging your water bag. You also have two possible outlets (right and left) for the hose, so you can drink easily while walking.
A hunting vest that's comfortable to wear
When you wear a backpack, the weight inside doesn't shift to the back. Why not? Because the straps come back at hip level! So we took inspiration from this. Initially, our straps came to the front, but the weight put into the rear carrier created an imbalance. Then our model-makers worked out a solution so that the straps would come up to the weight constraint on the lower back. As a result, all the weight is well distributed and you benefit from good support.
The straps adjustment system has evolved: we tell you how!
On the classic brown 900 vest, the adjustment of the chest strap is fixed. On this 920 version, you can now move it up and down to adjust it to your body shape. Another tip: you can clip the remote control for your dog's collar onto one of the two loops on the right or left shoulder for your water bag hose.
Back ventilation system designed to wick away perspiration
On the back, mesh ensures greater carrying comfort. What's more, air circulation is facilitated by a ventilation system that optimizes perspiration evacuation. Ideal when you're hunting in the open plains under the sun, isn't it? Even in autumn, when the mercury is still high, this vest is your companion on your outings. You won't get too hot or tired, and you'll still be able to move with ease.
The other pluses of this vest compared to the previous version
As on the 900, the 920 features "foamed" straps on the shoulder straps and back, with small air-ventilation channels. But there's even more to this version: our engineers have designed an internal zipped pocket on the inside of the waistband for the safe transport of accessories or documents. The final improvement concerns the lower pockets, which feature "tubes" for carrying 5 cartridges each.
Additional information
This vest is intended to be the last layer, as it can be worn with a simple t-shirt in summer, or over a jacket in winter. The fabric is abrasion-resistant and water-repellent (meaning it protects against light rain). With this model, you benefit from quick access to the carnier: the latter is extensible thanks to 2 snap buttons on the sides, and very easy to clean thanks to its zip. Weight? 0.810 Kg, excluding filled water bag.
