TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Isothermal

We tested this cooler in the laboratory at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs, filled to half its volume. The time taken to go from 5°C (the temperature of food coming out of the fridge) to 15°C is 5 h.
By adding 1.33 kg of ice, the time taken to go from 5°C to 15°C under the same conditions is 9 h.

Directions for use

We use polystyrene to insulate the body of the cooler and slow down the heating of the food and beverages in your cooler.
This is a passive preservation system and does not keep food frozen.
To improve performance and freshness time, we recommend adding several ice packs, for a total of 1.5 kg.

STOCK TIPS

We recommend that you store your cooler in a clean, dry place. It's best to wash and dry your cooler before storing it.

TESTS

European standard EN 12546-2 specifies the performance of coolers without cold accumulators.
To obtain this standard, tests are carried out by an external laboratory. These tests involve placing water at 5°C in the cooler, which is itself placed in a 32°C environment. The aim is to measure the time it takes met for the water to warm up to a temperature of 15°C. In the case of this cooler, the measured time is 5 h.
