Isothermal
We tested this cooler in the laboratory at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs, filled to half its volume. The time taken to go from 5°C (the temperature of food coming out of the fridge) to 15°C is 5 h.
By adding 1.33 kg of ice, the time taken to go from 5°C to 15°C under the same conditions is 9 h.

Directions for use
To increase the thermal performance of your cooler, we recommend:
- Place ice packs in the bottom of the cooler, then place frozen foods and raw meat on top of the ice packs,
- Place fresh foods on top and/or those that do not require refrigeration, such as fresh fruit,
- Fill the rest of the cooler with more ice packs,
- Leave the cooler in the shade, open it when necessary and close it quickly.
Insulation
We use polystyrene to insulate the body of the cooler and slow down the heating of the food and beverages in your cooler.
This is a passive preservation system and does not keep food frozen.
To improve performance and freshness time, we recommend adding several ice packs, for a total of 1.5 kg.
