TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Isothermal

We tested this cooler in the laboratory at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs, filled to half its volume. The time taken to go from 5°C (the temperature of food coming out of the fridge) to 15°C was 14 hours.
By adding 1.8 kg of ice, the time taken to go from 5°C to 15°C under the same conditions was 23 hours.

Capacity and accessories

Volume: 32 liters. Recommended for 4 to 6 people.
A storage bin is fitted to the top of the cooler, allowing you to store your accessories: cutlery, napkins, salt/pepper, etc. It is removable and can be slid out if you wish to access the food underneath. It is removable and can be slid out if you wish to access the food underneath.
Our cooler has a cap on the underside. If you're using ice, simply open it to drain off the water. Be sure to close it tightly to avoid unwanted dripping.

Directions for use

To increase the thermal performance of your cooler, we recommend:
- Place ice packs in the bottom of the cooler, then place frozen foods and raw meat in the bottom, on top of the ice packs.
- Place fresh foods on top and/or those that do not require refrigeration, such as fresh fruit.
- Fill the rest of the cooler with more ice packs.
- Leave your cooler in the shade, open it when necessary and close it quickly.

Insulation

We use 100% polyurethane foam. This foam provides excellent insulation to slow down the "heating up" of food and beverages in your cooler.
This is a "passive" preservation system, and does not keep food frozen.
To improve performance and freshness duration, we recommend adding several cold packs, for a total of 1.8 kg.

TESTS

European standard EN 12546-2 specifies the performance of coolers without cold accumulators.
To obtain this standard, tests are carried out by an external laboratory. These tests involve placing water at 5°C in the cooler, which is itself placed in a 32°C environment. The aim is to measure the time it takes met for the water to warm up to a temperature of 15°C. In the case of this cooler, the measured time is 14 hours.
