Usage :
It should only be used by experienced riders. For the first few sessions, you are strongly advised to have a professional accompany you.
Setting :
The goggle must be adjusted according to each horse's morphology and level of dressage. It must be used very gradually and punctually, as the horse will end up in a fixed attitude that can quickly become painful. It therefore requires a sound knowledge of the horse's attitude, balance, thrust and locomotion, whether ridden or lunged.
Mounting :
The fixed gogue: this consists of a leather strap fastened under the belly. At chest level, this strap ends in a ring from which two strings run. These strings slide through rings on either side of a headpiece added to that of the snaffle, pass through the rings of the bit and return to the ring at breast level.
Care instructions :
Moisturize regularly with leather milk or glycerine soap. Nourish with leather balm or grease about once a month, depending on frequency of use and climatic conditions.
Material :
Full-grain buffalo leather. Stainless steel buckles. Nickel-plated brass snap hooks.
