Optimum flow and leak-tightness thanks to cap valve
This water bottle has a cap specially designed for children. It has a transparent silicone valve inside to limit the flow of water, making it ideal for a child, and also to block the water outlet when the bottle is not upright, ensuring a watertight seal even with the cap open.
Make sure this valve is present and properly seated in its housing. If not, the bottle will leak.
It is advisable to remove it to clean your bottle.
How to optimize the performance of your Junior isothermal water bottle?
Isothermal performance: start at 95°c | after 6h = 64°c | after 12h = 50°c | after 24h = 36°c.
This isothermal bottle has been tested in the laboratory, using a protocol tested by our engineers.
1. rinse bottle with boiling water.
2. Fill to capacity with 95°c water. Close the bottle.
3. Leave at room temperature (23°c) for 24 hours.
4. Measure water temperature drop after 6h, 12h and 24h => see performances.
How was the isothermicity of the Junior isothermal water bottle validated?
Be careful when using hot liquids, as the gourd is highly isothermal, they will remain hot for a long time.
The fuller the bottle, the better it keeps hot and cold.
We use double-walled stainless steel technology with an air gap to block heat exchange by conduction or convection. To block exchanges by thermal radiation, a thin layer of copper covers the outside of the inner wall.
How do I use the Junior isothermal water bottle?
Do not use with carbonated drinks, fats (dairy products, oils, etc.) or acidic beverages (fruit juices, energy drinks).
Do not microwave, freeze or expose to flames.
The cap is fitted with a handle for easy carrying by hand, or for attaching to a backpack with a strap or carabiner.
How do I maintain and clean my Junior insulated water bottle?
Before using for the first time, wash and rinse the entire product 3 times.
Clean your gourd after each use.
For optimal washing and drying by hand:
1. Separate all components, making sure to remove the transparent valve;
2. Wash by hand in hot, soapy water (use a fine, delicate brush to get into the nooks and crannies);
3. Rinse with clear water;
4. Leave to dry separately, leaving the cap open while drying.
How do I thoroughly clean my Junior isothermal water bottle?
The gourd can also be put in the dishwasher if required. Please note that the seal and the valve on the cap may come off. Be sure to put them back on if this happens, to guarantee the watertightness of your bottle.
In case of odor, soak the bottle overnight in a solution of water and baking soda.
What are the regulations concerning the materials used in the Junior isothermal flask?
Our products and materials meet current food contact standards. They do not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) in compliance with current French regulations. We have chosen 18/8 (304) stainless steel for the body of the bottle, recognized for its food safety, and heat- and shock-resistant polypropylene for the stopper.
Is the Junior insulated water bottle repairable?
Our water bottles will accompany you on your hikes.
Over time, some parts may wear out or break.
To facilitate repair, the product is compatible with other stoppers in the range, available individually:
- the 100 stainless steel stopper (part no. 8615551);
- the 500 stopper (part no. 8575855) for look and more sporting use;
- the 900 pipette stopper (part no. 8359137).
Don't throw it away, repair it!
