Directions for use
Fill the water bottle with sale or unfiltered water.
Drink the filtered water through the straw.
Once you've finished drinking water, always unscrew the cap. Blow through LifeStraw® Go to expel contaminated water.
LifeStraw® Go stops filtering water when the product has reached the end of its useful life. Failure to remove water indicates that the product should be replaced.
Features
Bottle with integrated, removable filter. The product can be used without the filter like a conventional water bottle.
Maintenance tips
When returning from a hike, unscrew the cap, rinse the cap and filter under clean tap water and allow to dry. Before placing the bottle in the dishwasher for cleaning, remove the filter.
First-time use
Before first use, rinse bottle and cap with clean water. On first use, or whenever the filter dries out, fill the bottle with water, screw on the cap and leave for a few minutes to prime the filter. Then take 5 quick sips to allow the water to drain.
Filtration system
LifeStraw® Go uses an advanced
microfiltration membrane technology that eliminates up to 99.9999% of bacteria (e.g. Escherichia coli, Vibrio cholerae etc.) and 99.9% of protozoan parasite cysts (e.g. Cryptosporidium parvum, Giardia lamblia), organisms that cause water-borne diseases. LifeStraw® Go therefore considerably reduces the risk of contracting diseases such as diarrhea, dysentery and giardiasis.
Warning
Consumption of untreated water can expose you to harmful micro-organisms and increase the risk of gastrointestinal disorders. Inappropriate use of LifeStraw® Go increases your risk of exposure to harmful micro-organisms and gastrointestinal disorders. To reduce the
risk, follow these safety instructions and ask about water safety in remote areas. Never use to filter seawater or chemically contaminated water.
