This harness was developed and validated in collaboration with the French lifeguards at sea.
Since 2020, Tribord and the SNSM have been collaborating on all phases of development, from the initial specifications to the production of prototypes and their validation at sea.
This harness has been validated in the laboratory and on the water.
What settings are available?
The harness is slipped on at the side and closed with a metal buckle on the ventral side.
The buckle on the back should be adjusted so that the harness is positioned above the navel and +/- 5 cm from the sternum.
The subcutaneous straps should be clipped on and adjusted to ensure a snug fit. The subcutaneous straps contribute to the harness's effectiveness.
The harness must be properly tightened to be effective.

Two loops are positioned at chest level for attaching a beacon and VHF.

This harness is designed for users weighing between 40 and 130kg with a waist circumference of between 60 and 120cm and a maximum chest circumference of 120cm.

The textile harness buckle is lightweight and complies with standard 12401.
The lanyard is easy to hook onto the buckle, which stays firmly in place.
The buckle is centered on the vest for greater comfort in use.
