Why this cover?
Nowadays, in everyday use, carrying a snowboard involves a number of minor risks:
_ scratching the sole or edges in a parking lot,
_ damaging your car seats with the edges.
This cover has been designed to improve these points. For easy donning of the board, the elastic cover solution was chosen. When we used it, we discovered another advantage: the feeling of pampering your board.
Beware of rust
For a short trip, simply remove the snow.
But once you're home, take the time to wipe down the edges to avoid rust. The material that surrounds the nose and tail edges is not breathable, but resistant, so your cover will last longer.
On 1st use, pull the zigzag seam at the ends to stretch.
You have to make it crack to stretch it.
This may sound worrying, because you hear it crack and it sounds like you're tearing it, but that's not the case at all: it's not the zigzag seam that's breaking, but a thread that's needed in production and not in use. So there's nothing to worry about ;)
Beware of shocks
If you drop your board on the ground, the cover won't protect it from impact. The grey Comfort 500 Snowboard Travel Cover (8399495) fulfills this role.
