What are the benefits of feeding your dog salmon oil?
After a hunting season, a dog's coat has often "suffered", from humidity, cold, brambles and thorns. So it's important to provide them with essential fatty acids that will help them redevelop a beautiful, soft, shiny and silky coat. However, salmon oil is not only recommended for hunting dogs, but for all types of dogs.
How do you administer this oil to your pet?
Simply add it to your dog's daily food ration. Note, however, that in terms of cures, this can vary: you can give it once a week, or do week-long cures non-stop, or even month-long cures non-stop. It all depends on the quality of your dog's coat, and the advice of your vet.
What dosage should I follow?
For a dog weighing:
-5kg: give 1 teaspoon a day
-10kg: give 1.5 teaspoons a day
-15kg: give 2 teaspoons a day
-20kg: give 2.5 teaspoons a day
-25kg: give 3 teaspoons a day
-30kg: give 3.5 teaspoons a day
-35kg: give 4 teaspoons a day
