DESIGN
This kimono has been designed specifically for the practice of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (JJB).
The jacket is a 350 g/m² JJB-specific woven component.
Its adapted cut and the presence of double-stitched reinforcements on the knees, shoulders and armpits make it the ideal kimono for JJB practice.
The main parts of the kimono are triple-stitched.
The collar is made of EVA foam.
The pants are fitted with an elastic band, ideal for children.
WHY USE A COTTON(60%)/POLYESTER(40%) BLEND?
The component used is a blend of Cotton (60%) and Polyester (40%), resulting in a kimono that is comfortable, lightweight and hard-wearing.
In addition, the Cotton-Polyester blend results in less shrinkage with repeated washings, as well as faster drying than 100% cotton models.
Last but not least, it reduces the consumption of cotton, a material that requires large quantities of water during production. The cotton-polyester blend is therefore a technical choice.
WHICH SIZE TO CHOOSE?
Here's how to choose your kimono size:
- M1: up to 1m25 and 30 kg
- M2: up to 1m35 and 35 kg
- M3: up to 1m45 and 40 kg
- M4: up to 1m50 and 45 kg
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
We advise you to air your kimono after each use and to wash it regularly. The kimono must be left in a dry, well-ventilated place after each use.
The first washes should be cold. Thereafter, do not exceed a water temperature of 30°C.
If the kimono is a little too large, it can be adjusted by washing at 40°C, which will cause it to shrink slightly.
WHAT IS BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU (BJJ)?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (JJB) is a martial art developed in Brazil and popularized thanks to the victories of the Gracie family in the first free-fight clashes organized in the United States.
JJB focuses on ground fighting techniques and helps develop strength, flexibility and endurance. It also helps build self-confidence.
JJB has become an essential part of free sparring, enabling you to respond technically to ground combat.
