TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Introducing the Kimono Judo 100 Junior

To help you discover judo without constraints, we've designed a judogi adapted to your practice: the length of the sleeves, the amplitude of the shoulders and the slim fit at the waist allow you to perform all your movements freely.
And the pants? They're more resistant at the knees to adapt to ground combat. And with their elastic waistband, they're easy to put on!

How to choose the right kimono size?

The choice of kimono size depends on the child's height!
Kimono sizes range from 100 to 150 cm, so we recommend choosing a kimono at least 5 cm larger to anticipate the child's growth (they grow by 5 to 10 cm a year).

For example: if your child is 1.35 m tall, choose a 140 cm kimono.

Grammage and composition: we explain

The thickness of a fabric, and therefore its weight, is expressed in grams per square meter. This is called grammage. To practice judo, it's best to use a judogi with a resistant fabric that stays in place throughout the grips, but also when it goes through the washing machine!
That's why we've chosen a fabric made from 35% cotton and 65% polyester: it's more resistant to pulling and washing.
And what about the grammage? At 190 g/m², your child can start judo in comfort!

How to care for your kimono

We recommend airing the kimono after each use. And to preserve its white color, wash regularly. Our tip? Wash your kimono cold for the first few washes. Then wash at 30°C or below.
For drying, we strongly advise you to let the kimono air-dry and not to use a tumble-dryer :)
