A kimono to suit your style?
In karate, there are many schools: The French federation's website lists 32 styles of karate.
With its short skirt and long sleeves, your kimono offers a European cut that is suitable for most styles and focused on shotokan karate.
With stitching at the bottom of the sleeves, legs and jacket skirt, your kimono is more weighted: the feeling of fluidity is increased, for greater aesthetic appeal during your techniques.
Sold without the belt.
What is the material of your kimono?
To support you in all your competitions, we offer a 100% polyester stretch kimono. The result? Your kimono is particularly light for fast, precise movement, to optimize your performance.
With its honeycomb fabric, it rapidly wicks away perspiration while remaining soft. In fact, the entire back of the jacket and the area below the lumbar vertebrae on the back of the pants are made of mesh.
We explain the design of your Karate 900 kimono
Whatever your style, we offer a karategi that's attractive, technical and suitable:
- The cut of the pants is designed for the use of shin and hip protectors
- The jacket is curved at the hips for an elegant fit
- The amplitude of the jacket at the torso allows you to execute all your arm techniques without constraint
- The notches on the sides of the jacket give you more freedom for all your leg movements, even in a low position.
Our design team tells the story of our new range of kimonos:
"We had to rewrite everything, starting from scratch. The priorities were to rework the materials and the cut, to offer attractive kimonos in keeping with karate codes. And above all, we wanted to put ourselves in the shoes of karate practitioners." What followed were dozens of prototypes and tests with some twenty karatekas, until we had a kimono that was just right and well-balanced.
Enrique, product manager at Outshock and karate black belt, explains his vision kimonos.
"I hope the kimonos will appeal to even the most demanding and purist of people. We wanted to put our finger on what the kimono is for us, on the importance of notions of form and technique, on following the body's movements. The kimono helps you embrace the form and technique of your karate."
