PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
The bleeding method may vary according to your make and model of hydraulic brake.
Please check with your brake manufacturer for detailed instructions and/or specific features relating to your brake model before undertaking any maintenance operations.
When in doubt
Brake bleeding is a complex operation requiring technical knowledge. This operation can be carried out in our workshops by a qualified technician.
Cleaning the kit
Use only water or non-aggressive detergents to clean syringes, hoses and nozzles.
Never use alcohol, acetone or other strong chemicals which could damage the purge kit.
Board
DOT fluid is corrosive, so use gloves and eye protection before starting to bleed.
Once you've finished bleeding, before putting your brake pads back on, clean the lever and caliper with isopropyl alcohol to remove all traces of fluid and avoid damaging your equipment.
