TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Visibility

Following discussions with cyclists and other road users (motorists, pedestrians, etc.), our design teams have defined the optimum functions for cyclist visibility.

One objective: to ensure cyclist safety.

Performance

LED lighting power:
- front LED lighting: 25Lux/75 Lumens and 15Lux/35 Lumens in ECO mode
- rear LED lighting: 5Lux/3 Lumens

Approved by German highway code (STVZO)

Equipped with special lenses that focus the light to see to the FRONT (i.e. at a speed of 15km/h correctly) to avoid an obstacle and to the rear to be seen at 220°.

Batteries

3xAAA for front lighting (included in pack)
2xAA for rear lighting (included in pack)
Compatible with rechargeable batteries.

To change the batteries, use a coin for the rear lighting. For front lighting, simply slide the lighting cover backwards.

First-time use

To avoid consuming energy during storage, a small tab separates the batteries from the electronics. Remember to remove this plastic tab before use.

COMPOSITIONS / ADVICE

Composition

Metal structure 100% Battery - Alkaline Main part 60% Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, 40% Polycarbonate Strap 100% Silicone

TESTS

Laboratory tests are carried out to validate the components: batteries, autonomy, UV resistance, solidity... Then, a test on the finished product simulates how the assemblies hold up over time: the lighting is positioned on a test bike reproducing the oscillations of the road over thousands of cycles.
