WHY A NEW VARIO KIT
In early 2020, our fastener supplier changed the shape of the hook to meet the need for compatibility with electric-assist bike racks housing a battery. The tooth is shorter and the spacing of the screw holes is different.
From spring 2021, our panniers will be fitted with this new hook.
There are now 2 VARIO FIXING KITS, which unfortunately are not interchangeable.
COMPATIBILITY OF THIS KIT WITH YOUR LUGGAGE
To check if this kit is compatible with your luggage, it's very simple.
- If your luggage is equipped with GREY hooks, then this kit is COMPATIBLE and MUST BE USED.
- If your luggage is equipped with BLACK hooks, then this kit is NOT COMPATIBLE and MUST NOT BE USED. In this case, please order the KIT with reference 8538529.
