Trigger
Thanks to its sensor (sensor at the end of the black wire), the lamp is triggered by contact with water, or by pressing the ON/OFF button
The remote sensor enables the lamp to be triggered as soon as the bottom of the vest comes into contact with water.
To stop the lamp flickering, simply press the ON/OFF button on the body of the lamp.
Install the lamp on a vest.
We recommend that you fit the lamp to your vest before you set off on your trip.
For a self-inflating vest:
- Open your vest to see the inflatable bladder
- Clip the lamp to one of the straps on the upper part of the vest (chest), so that it's above the water when you're in the water.
- Let the probe (end of the wire) hang down from the vest. Leave the probe (at the end of the wire) hanging down from the vest, which will light the lamp when it comes into contact with the water.
- Close your vest.
Can also be attached to a foam vest.
IMPORTANT
The higher your flashlight is positioned on you or your vest, the greater your chances of being seen from a distance by rescuers, especially at night.
