INNOVATION MOON CONCEPT: better visibility at night
Some parts of our products (luggage, landing nets, rods, etc.) are impregnated with UV pigments that fluoresce under the UV light of our headlamp.
This makes your equipment more visible at night.
Understand lamp wattage.
Wattage is one of the first selection criteria. It is expressed in lumens. It defines the level of brightness projected in all directions by a lamp. The higher the value, the brighter the lamp.
Different sports have different requirements:
- Camping: less than 100 lumens
- Running / Hiking / Night fishing: between 50 and 200 lumens
- Caving: more than 200 lumens.
What does IPX5 mean?
The IPX standard is used to determine a product's level of protection against the intrusion of liquids (water) or solids (dust).
The IPX5 standard for our lamp is defined in the protection index table as follows:
1. "Protects against dust"
2. "Protects against water jets from all directions".
