Lighting modes
The FORCLAZ BIVOUAC 500 USB headlamp has 3 modes to suit every situation:
- Fixed red mode for discretion in huts or to preserve your vision night
- Eco mode (20lm) for map reading or bivouac use
- High mode (100lm) for moving around the camp
The dimmer allows you to adjust the power precisely between 10 and 100 lumens by pressing the button
At the end of the battery life, the automatic reserve mode guarantees 30 min at 20 lumens.
Battery type
750mAh lithium-ion battery, rechargeable via microUSB cable (included) and compatible with external chargers and solar panels FORCLAZ.
Optical beam
The wide beam of the BIVOUAC 500 USB headlamp distributes the light evenly so that you can see ahead and to the side.
Lighting technology
Constant LED lighting: lighting performance does not diminish when the battery is discharged.
Lighting autonomy is calculated according to the FL1 standard.
For each mode, it corresponds to the maximum duration during which the lamp is capable of delivering at least 10% of the maximum power of the mode concerned. This maximum power is measured between 30 seconds and 1 minute after switch-on, with full batteries.
Maximum lamp range
Maximum range of 25m in bright mode.
Range is measured according to FL1 standard: it corresponds to the maximum distance at which the lamp is capable of illuminating with a brightness of 0.25 lux (local measurement).
This brightness corresponds to the equivalent glow produced by the moon in its best conditions.

Easily accessible switch on top of the headlamp
The BIVOUAC 500 USB headlamp can be locked in the off position (long press) to prevent accidental switching on in your bag.
Headband
Removable, washable 15mm-wide headband. Composition: 70% polyester and 30% natural rubber for maximum comfort. Two symmetrical adjustment buckles for easy tightening. The BIVOUAC 500 USB headlamp fits all heads, from children to adults, as well as mountain helmets.
Storage
The FORCLAZ BIVOUAC 500 USB headlamp comes in a textile pouch with USB cable for protection and storage. The absence of disposable packaging reduces its impact on the environment.
