Why care for your leathers?
Proper care of your leather is essential for the horse's comfort and the rider's safety. Well-maintained saddles and snaffles last longer and provide better working conditions. Leather is best cared for on a regular basis: daily, weekly or monthly, depending on weather conditions and frequency of use.
Tips for restoring your leathers:
The glycerine soap cleans your leathers daily, but it is important to do a complete treatment once a month.
STEP 1:
clean your leathers with the glycerine soap and sponge. Leave to dry.
ETAPE 2 :
Apply the oil with the cloth, paying particular attention to the underside of the leather. Allow to penetrate. Not recommended for leather that is already supple.
STEP 3:
for all types of leather: apply grease with the cloth, allow to penetrate, then buff to a shiny finish.
Care instructions before first use :
Oil new leathers. Clean regularly with glycerine soap. Occasionally grease to keep leathers supple and strong.
