TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Program

A high-performance longboard for powerful waves. Rides like a small board with support from the back foot. The rocker is fairly pronounced to facilitate maneuverability and avoid getting stuck in hollow waves. As a result, the board requires a little more paddling commitment than a classic longboard or nose ride. Once on the wave, maneuverability is a real treat.

Construction

Hand-laminated with epoxy resin on EPS foam pad for greater durability and resistance to denting.
EPS core 30 kg/m3
Top with 2 layers of fibreglass in 6 Oz + 1 in 4 Oz
Bottom with 1 layer 4Oz + 1 layer 6 Oz
Rails with 2 layers in 6Oz
EPOXY resin
1 Paulownia wood lath 10 mm.

Advantages of EPS/EPOXY boards

We have chosen this type of construction for our surfboards because it offers several advantages.
Epoxy resin is more resistant to impact and denting than polyester resin, giving you a more durable board.
The board will be more responsive and capable of generating more speed.
The EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam block floats better, so for the same volume you have more buoyancy than a polyester/polyurethane board.

Protective packaging

The board is packed in a Flexi Hex® honeycomb case in a sturdy cardboard box.
this case can be reused in your surf bag to protect it on the move.

Aileron assembly

1 8" fiber center fin on US box .
The further forward the fin is in the box, the more maneuverable the board. The further back it is, the more drive you get.
2 FCS1 4" fiberglass side fins.

Fitting a leash (not supplied)

Be sure to adjust the length of the cord that connects the leash to the plug so that the rail saver rests on the edge of the board.
