What compatibility?
The treads are compatible with Longboards mounted with inverted trucks:
Fish 500
Pintail 520
Free 520
Drop Mini
Dance 500
The treads are not compatible with Skateboard Trucks (MID 100, MID 500, TEAM) and Cruiser Trucks (Yamba, Big Yamba, Yamba 500, Yamba 900).
What are bushings used for?
Bushings are urethane rubber pads mounted on the truck. There are two per truck, one above the hanger (the wheel axle) and the other between the hanger and the base plate (the flat part fixed to the board)
Bushings allow the truck to tilt while offering resistance.
Depending on their hardness and shape, you can adapt the truck's resistance.
Which wetsuit should you use for your skateboard or longboard?
The kit includes 2 shapes: 4 cones and 4 cylinders (Barrels).
The possible compositions:
1/ Cône / Cone: the softest assembly which will accentuate the angle in the turns but which will be less stable (ideal for example for Carving)
2/ Barrel / Barrel: the hardest assembly which will give a good stability but which will turn less (ideal for example for the descent)
3/ Cône / Barrel: classic assembly which is a compromise between the 2 precedents.
Which hardness to choose?
Le choix de la dureté est à adapter à son poids et son style de pratique.
Plus votre gabarit est important, plus il faudra prendre des gommes dures (et inversement).
De manière générale :
< 80Kg: 88a
> 80 Kg: 92a
À adapter en fonction du montage choisi (Cône / Cône, Cône / Barrel ....)
Il n'y a pas de règles prédéfinies pour tous. Il faut donc tester les différentes possibilités pour voir laquelle correspond le mieux à votre style de pratique ou aux sensations recherchées.
