Glide sole
The sliding surface is made of PE (polyethylene), the same material as the soles of skis and snowboards. On groomed slopes, it glides quickly. On the other hand, the shape of the Funny Slide, combined with the position of the person on it, means that it moves much more slowly on soft or powdery snow. The PE sole also makes this little sled extremely sturdy.
How do I drive the FUNNY SLIDE shovel sled?
To drive the FUNNY SLIDE shovel sled, simply sit on the T-shaped printed side between your legs and pull with the handle. For best glide, lean back so that the entire surface of the shovel sled is in contact with the snow.
How do I equip myself for sledding?
We recommend that the whole family wear:
- A ski helmet to enjoy the pleasures of sledding in safety.
- A mask: protects eyes from UV rays and allows good visibility when going fast.
- Gloves: to keep hands warm and dry.
- A warm, waterproof wetsuit or ski suit.
- Warm, waterproof snow boots with good grip.
- A pair of gaiters.
