This lunch box's spacious format makes it easy to pack a complete meal for one or two people.
Its main compartment can hold up to 2 containers on its height.
1 zipped pocket holds cutlery and other accessories. 1 other pocket can hold a cold pack.
The 2 expandable side pockets can hold a water bottle (or can) of up to 50 cl while standing upright.
Its shoulder strap makes it easy to carry.
How was the isothermicity of the Lunch box isotherm 500 validated?
We have chosen a thick, high-performance Polyurethane (PU) foam to improve insulation performance.
This lunchbox has been laboratory-tested to EN 12546-2, at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice pack, and filled to half its volume. The time taken to go from 5°C (temperature of food coming out of the fridge) to 15°C is 5 hours.
With 300 g of ice pack, the time taken to go from 5°C to 15°C under the same conditions is 8 hours.
How to optimize the performance of the Lunch box isotherme 500?
To preserve freshness longer, you can add one or more cold accumulators through the pocket inside the main compartment.
You can also store your lunch box and food in the refrigerator before your picnic or meal to maximize freshness.
The fuller the lunch box, the better the preservation of freshness.
Cold packs are available in store or on our website Decathlon.fr
