TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Why do you need swimming goggles?

Swimming goggles are used as protective equipment by swimmers of all levels.
Waterproof, they protect the eyes from contact with chlorinated or salty water. Anti-UV, they allow comfortable vision in and out of the water.

A pair of swimming goggles is made up of several parts:
- More or less tinted lenses
- Seals
- Flexible or rigid nose bridge
- Elastic straps with adjustment system

Is fogging up your glasses inevitable?

Fogging of swimming goggles or masks depends on a number of factors (body-water temperature difference, humidity level, perspiration...). Our treatments delay the onset of fogging.

Anti-fog treatment is a transparent varnish applied to the inside of lenses. It is sensitive to any friction, making it ineffective and leaving marks.

To renovate your aging product, we offer an anti-fog reactivator to be used at each session for fog-free swimming.

How to choose the right size for your goggles?

To ensure optimum watertightness, the goggles must fit the swimmer's face:

- Size S for a slim face
- Size L for a wide face

It's best to use a swim cap to enhance the wearing experience.

And how do you adjust your pool goggles?

Fear of maladjustment, fear of over-tightening, impossible!

We have combined the technology of an adjustment knob, quite similar to that of a bicycle helmet, with swimming goggles. The challenge was to design rigid temples, and our engineers challenged themselves to the nearest tenth of a millimetre.

You also benefit from the EXTEND system, also patented, which allows you to put the goggles on your forehead when you feel it's necessary, without loosening the knob.

What color lenses should you choose for swimming?

The tint of your lenses helps to protect your eyes: it must therefore be adapted to your practice area and its luminosity.
If the pool is dark with low luminosity, in the evening in winter for example, prefer tinted or translucent lenses.
If you practice outdoors or in a pool with high luminosity, prefer smoked goggles for better visual comfort and to limit glare.
Finally, the mirror adds an extra touch of style to your swimming goggles.

Are goggle lenses effective against UV rays?

In compliance with the QB/T 4734-2023 standard, all Nabaiji swimming goggles protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays under normal use, regardless of lens tint.

Direct observation of the sun is dangerous and can lead to irreversible eye damage.

Do the lenses on your glasses have any other function?

Our goggles are designed to give you a clear, distortion-free vision underwater view.
The curved lenses available on some models combine compactness with a wide field of vision at vision.

Some models feature polarized lenses to limit glare caused by light reflecting off the water.

What makes up a pair of swimming goggles?

The lenses are made of high-impact polycarbonate to protect swimmers' eyes. This material is highly transparent.

Flexible gaskets ensure comfort and watertightness on the face. They are made from silicone or TPE, as are the flexible, resistant straps for easy fitting, simple adjustment and a secure fit.

Rigid frame components and adjustment buckles are generally made from polycarbonate.

These goggles were designed for experienced swimmers, but are suitable for everyone!

At NABAIJI, confirmed swimmers range in age from 8 to 100.
They swim at varying frequencies and intensities.
Their sessions include 2 to 4 different strokes.
Whether on their own or with a coach, they are driven by a desire for continuous technical, physical and mental improvement.

Worried that goggles might be uncomfortable?

Do your swimming goggles tend to pull your hair? In addition, we recommend a swim cap for your swimming sessions. The advantage? Greater stability for your goggles while swimming, and an end to hair pain!

Do your lenses fog up? We recommend our anti-fog marker, which will enable you to swim fog-free and keep your goggles longer. Effective for 1 to 2 hours between applications!

Is this model the right choice for children?

The watertightness of goggles depends on the fit of the gaskets to the young swimmer's face:

Size S is suitable for children (thin face), but not for babies.

And if you wear contact lenses?

The presence of water between the eye and the contact lens can lead to inflammation of the eye.
Under normal conditions of use, the watertightness of swimming goggles partly limits the risk of water ingress. Waterproofing can be lost, for example, as a result of impact, strong acceleration or diving.
