ANTI-UV
Anti-UV material, but what does it do?
To protect your eyes from an invisible danger... UV rays.
UV rays are always present, in winter or summer, on sunny or even overcast days, and can be harmful to your eyes and their contours.
To protect your vision, the lenses of our sunglasses are made of polycarbonate mixed with "anti UV" material to protect you from the sun's harmful rays (UVA and UVB).
EBLOUISSEMENT
Classification of tinted lenses in accordance with ISO 12312-1:
- Category 1: slightly tinted lenses for low sunlight levels.
- Category 2: moderately tinted glass for medium sunlight.
- Category 3: dark glass for strong sunlight (sea and mountains). Between 82% and 92% of visible light absorbed
- Category 4: very dark glass, for exceptional solar luminosity (high mountains). Between 92% and 97% of visible light absorbed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our lenses are made of polycarbonate, a material that is highly resistant to impact, but whose major drawback is that it is sensitive to scratches.
Even if your lenses are scratched, the UV protection does not diminish - the mirror effect is purely aesthetic.
The same applies to the color of our sunglasses.
Whether gray, brown or colored... you can choose your sunglasses according to your preferences, and you'll be protected whatever the color.
