PHOTOCHROMIC TECHNOLOGY
Photochromic lenses adapt automatically to light conditions.
The lens is tinted in around 30 seconds (45 seconds to deactivate).
The perceived brightness varies little, even if the outside light changes.
For example, when cycling, the change in tint is hardly perceptible.
The tint changes smoothly, as the eye adapts at the same time.
A cold temperature will activate (tint) the lens more easily, and tint transitions will be longer.
