Negombo is a patented elastane-free material. The mechanical elasticity provided by Lycra Co's T400 fiber, combined with an innovative knitting method, ensures a product that adapts to your contours and retains its shape over time. Resistant to over 500h of chlorine, the longevity of this component is five times greater than a material with elastane, so you can enjoy your swimsuit for much longer.

AQUARESIST TECHNOLOGY
Products bearing the AQUARESIST label are guaranteed chlorine-resistant for the duration of their life. They will retain their elasticity and be resistant to UV rays. For these reasons, they are recommended for regular or intensive use in swimming pools.
Why doesn't my swimsuit have a hygienic sticker?
From 2022, all women's swimwear designed at Decathlon will be produced without plastic stickers. If we lined up all the stickers, 940 km of plastic would be saved every year!
This sensible decision is strongly based on protecting our planet and limiting the use of plastic.
