TECHNICAL INFORMATION

AQUARESIST technology

Products bearing the AQUARESIST label are guaranteed chlorine-resistant. They will retain their elasticity and be resistant to UV rays. For these reasons, they are recommended for regular or intensive use in swimming pools.

Material

Main material: 100% polyester. Our engineers have developed a polyester-based material and replaced the elastane fibers with a PBT fiber that guarantees the elasticity needed for comfort, but above all is not attacked by chlorine. PBT yarn is also fast-drying. It loses only 3% to 4% of its strength over its lifetime. Another advantage: colors are more stable, even on bright colors.

TESTS

Products bearing the AQUARESIST label are tested under repeated cyclic tension in a chlorinated water tank for 240 hours. No degradation of elastic strength is noted throughout the test. Unlike a conventional bath product, the product remains intact.
