WARM AND COMFORTABLE, THIS HOODED CYCLING JERSEY IS THE IDEAL COMPANION FOR ALL YOUR GRAVEL OUTINGS!
We chose to include 29% merino wool in the composition of our jersey because of its many properties: thanks to its high thermal resistance, it retains the heat generated by your body as you ride your bike. And because we know that gravel weather conditions can sometimes be extreme, we've equipped our jersey with an under-helmet hood and a windproof component on the upper body and sleeves.
A HOODED JERSEY MADE FROM MERINO WOOL
Our cycling jersey is ideal for long, moderate efforts. However, we do not recommend wearing it for intensive efforts.
ORIGINS OF MERINO WOOL FOR GRAVEL JERSEYS
We only use wool from Merino sheep raised on farms in South Africa that do not practice mulesing.
ZOOM ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF OUR MERINO WOOL JERSEY
To keep you warm, our jersey is made of 29% merino wool. The collar opens and closes with a zip. Our jersey is also equipped with four pockets: two zipped hand pockets on the front, one zipped cross pocket on the back, and two non-zipped inside pockets. We've also fitted our jersey with a merino windproof underhelmet hood. Finally, the front of the sleeves and the top of the jersey (front/rear) are lined with a windproof layer.
A LONG-SLEEVED CYCLING JERSEY IDEAL FOR COOLER TEMPERATURES
We tested this product during the autumn and winter of 2021/2022 in cool and cold conditions, and loved riding in it!
It's ideal for temperatures between 5°C and 10°C worn with long-sleeved merino underwear, and if it gets cold, we recommend donning the hood, which fits perfectly under a helmet.
Its urban style makes it ideal for everyday wear or for breaks during your long-distance rides.
TIPS FOR CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE FOR YOUR HOODED CYCLING JERSEY
Our merino wool hooded jersey fits very close to the body:
- If your IMG (Indice Masse Grasse) is less than 25%, you can choose your usual size.
- If your IMG is between 25 and 30%, we advise you to wear a size larger than your usual size.
- Finally, if your IMG is more than 30%, you can choose your hooded jersey two sizes larger (or even more, depending on your size) than your usual size.
CARE TIPS FOR YOUR CYCLING JERSEY
We recommend that you turn your jersey inside out and close the zip completely before putting it in the machine.
Your jersey should be machine-washed at 30° on a wool program.
Drying should be done in a dry, airy place on a wide hanger, so that your garment retains its original shape at the shoulders. We also advise against tumble-drying, softening, dry-cleaning, the use of chlorine and placing your swimsuit on a radiator.
COMPLETE CYCLING CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT
As you'd expect, you'll need our merino wool jersey for your gravel outings, as well as underwear, shorts and tights. We also recommend a choker, a pair of long gloves, a pair of warm socks, a helmet, goggles, shoes with cleats, a pannier with puncture-proof material, one or more water bottles and a sturdy supply of food.
THE CAP
We opted for a hood under the helmet to maintain thermal comfort for the head and body in general.
We lightened the material around the ears and added a component more open than merino (the black part visible in the photo) to increase perception of surrounding noise, especially traffic.
