This study proves that wearing KIPRUN sleeves:

How to choose your size
To optimize the sleeve's effectiveness, take the various measurements precisely at the strongest point of both calves, and choose the associated sleeve size.
size M - calf circumference: 32 / 36 CM
size L - calf circumference: 37 / 41 CM
How do I put the sleeve on?
Wrap the sleeve around itself, starting at the calf and working up to the ankle.
Using both hands, stretch the sleeve widthwise to accommodate the foot and ankle, and carefully unroll it down the leg, starting at the top of the malleoli.
Adjust the sleeve perfectly below the knee, spreading the material evenly over the calf and making sure there are no folds left along the leg*.

* * If, however, you are unable to adjust the sleeve both on the top of the malleolus and on the underside of the knee, priority will always be given to the underside of the knee.
