Why use potholders for cross-training?
During WODs involving hanging gymnastic movements, we strongly recommend using potholders to avoid injuring your hands. This is particularly true if you frequently perform exercises such as Bar Muscle-Ups, T2B, Chest-to-bar or Pull-ups, for example!
Improve your grip even further
We recommend that you apply magnesia to these potholders each time you use them, to improve their grip on your bar.
How to choose potholders
Measure the length of your palm (from the base of your wrist to the base of your middle finger). Choose size 1 if under 10 cm, and size 2 if over 10 cm.
How to care for your potholders
Potholders can be washed regularly:
- Apply a little black soap and rub gently.
- Let them soak in lukewarm water.
- Then let them dry.
Now you're ready to get back to your WOD.
Did you know: what are the differences between potholders with and without holes?
Potholders without holes, unlike those with, can be removed more easily. This is particularly important if you want to make quick transitions between exercises!
