Why use potholders?
Potholders give you a better grip on the apparatus without putting too much strain on your forearms. We strongly recommend that you also use a sponge wrist wrap, to be placed under your potholders.
How to choose the right potholder size?
First step: measure the size of your hand.
For potholders dedicated to high bar practice, the measurement must start from the beginning of the palm of the hand and end in the middle, between the first and second phalanges of the middle finger.
≤ 11.3 cm = Size 0
≤ 12.6 cm = Size 1
≤ 13.9 cm = Size 2
≤ 15.3 cm = Size 3

Second step: fitting.
Put the potholder around your wrist. The blue strap should pass under the wrist bone. Unfold the potholder against your outstretched hand and check that the leather end is well positioned. Potholders designed for the high bar have 3 holes (for the index, middle and ring fingers), as well as a thin bead. The end of the potholder should reach between the first and second phalanges of the middle finger.
How do I clean my gym potholders?
To improve the durability of your potholders, they need to be properly cared for. Please note that as potholders are made of leather, they should not be washed in water. After each use, remove any excess magnesia from your potholders. You can then store them in a pouch. We recommend that you use a dedicated bag and wash it regularly.
The first use
If the finger holes are too narrow, you can enlarge them using sandpaper. Above all, don't use scissors!
Rest assured, the shape of the potholder will be perfectly adapted to your hand after a few gymnastics sessions.
Our product tests
Our leather was evaluated in our laboratories by mechanical extension and tear resistance tests. Our potholders were then put to the test over the long term in partnership with 4 clubs and 3 national and international gymnastics centers. The high standards set by the gymnasts enabled us to perfect and validate the technical quality of our potholders to meet the needs of our users perfectly.
