Why use potholders?
Potholders give you a better grip on the apparatus without putting too much strain on your forearms. We strongly recommend that you also use a sponge wrist wrap, to be placed under your potholders.
How to choose the right potholder size?
First step: measure the size of your hand.
Measure from the beginning of your palm to the first phalanx of your middle finger.
This model is developed for size 2 and size 3 only.
≤ 15.2 cm = Size 2
≤ 16 cm = Size 3
The first use
If the finger holes are too narrow, you can enlarge them using sandpaper. Above all, don't use scissors!
As the leather is thicker than that on our 500 potholders, it will take more practice to soften the leather and adapt it to gyms' hands.
How do I clean my gym potholders?
To improve the durability of your potholders, it's important to look after them properly.
Please note that potholders are made of leather and should not be washed in water.
After each use, remove any excess magnesia from your potholders. You can then store them in a pouch. We recommend that you use a dedicated bag and wash it regularly.
The design team's advice
These 900 potholders are not for beginner gymnasts. The leather is thicker and therefore harder. It will take more training for the leather to soften and adapt to the gyms' hands.
