100% UV protection
Because UV rays are harmful to the eyes, all our masks are certified 100% ANTI UV. The mask is the best answer to protection, perfectly enclosing the eyes and preventing UV rays from passing through, even through reverberation.
S3 SUN display
The S3 SUN screen is a dark screen that provides good protection from the sun's brightness. We have selected a brown tint for good visibility in shaded areas or at the end of the day when the sun is less bright.
The screens are not scratch-resistant.
High-performance anti-fogging
The "PERFORMANT" anti-fog shield is a double shield with an inner face treatment combined with ventilation on the frame to ventilate the inside of the ski mask.
To ensure good ventilation of the inside of the mask, avoid closing these vents, for example with a muffler.
Take care not to rub the inner face of the shield, but to carefully dab the surface to maintain the anti-fog effectiveness for as long as possible.
Dual screen
A goggle with double shielding helps to limit fogging. The air trapped between the 2 shields acts as a thermal insulator. As a result, the thermal shock between the inside of the mask and the outside is lower, slowing down the formation of fog on the inner screen. To complete the picture, the inner screen also receives an anti-fog treatment.
Cylindrical screen
Cylindrical double screen. The outer screen is made of impact-resistant injected polycarbonate. Inner screen in proprionate cellulose.
vision "PERFORMANT" field
The G 500 has a "PERFORMANT" field of vision , offering wide visibility for a clear view of the sides.
Ski helmet compatibility
All Wedze ski goggles are designed for perfect compatibility with Wedze ski helmets.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
The G 500 S3 Ski Goggle in size L allows the use of goggles up to 145 mm wide. The foam on the sides and the shape of the goggle skirt leave a passage exclusively for the temples.
Strap
Polyamide, polyester and rubber elastic, 40 mm high, 2 non-slip silicone strips
Colored screen Flashé
A colored coating on the outside of the ski mask screen (called Color Flash) reduces the % transmission of light reaching the eye, meaning less glare and greater visual clarity in bright conditions.
Please note that the screens are not scratch-resistant.
Prevent fogging
Moisture promotes fogging. So avoid saturating foams with moisture, for example by putting a ski mask on a wet helmet or cap. Falling face-on to the snow is a major factor in fogging. That's why, in all cases, you need to dry your ski mask overnight to eliminate all traces of moisture, so that you can ski again the next day with a perfectly dry mask.
2 sizes
The size of the mask depends on the size of the head.
Up to size 55 cm, choose size S; from size 56 onwards, choose size L.
