100% UV protection
UV rays are harmful to the eyes. All our goggles are 100% UV-certified. Ski goggles are the best answer to protection: they enclose your eyes perfectly and prevent any passage of UV rays, including through reverberation.
Photochromic screen
The photochromic screen darkens largely thanks to ultraviolet rays. Depending on their presence, the tint of the screen will be darker or darker during the day's skiing.
Beware, there's always a lot of UV in skiing (altitude + snow reverberation), so a photochromic screen isn't always the best solution in bad weather. Don't think it's a miracle solution. Nothing can replace an S1 screen on bad weather days.
Screens are not scratch-resistant.
OPTIMAL" anti-fog
The "OPTIMAL" anti-fog system is a double ventilated screen with a treatment on the inside and ventilation on the frame, which allows the inside of the ski mask to be ventilated.
To ensure good ventilation of the inside of the mask, avoid closing these air vents, for example with a muffler.
Take care not to rub the inside of the screen, but to carefully dab the surface to maintain the anti-fog effectiveness for as long as possible.
Ventilated double screen
A goggle design with a ventilated double shield helps limit fogging. The air trapped between the 2 screens acts as a thermal insulator. As a result, the thermal shock between the inside of the mask and the outside is lower, slowing down the formation of fog on the mask's inner screen. The inner screen also receives an anti-fog treatment and is ventilated by vents to ensure good air circulation.
Spherical screen
The spherical shape gives the least optical distortion.
The screen is highly impact-resistant thanks to its material and shape, while the inner screen is made of acetate.
vision "OPTIMAL" field
there is the vertical and horizontal field of vision . The G 900 has an "OPTIMAL" field of vision , the mask offering the best field of vision.
Ski helmet compatibility
All Wedze ski goggles are designed for perfect compatibility with Wedze ski helmets.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
The G 900 PH Ski Goggle in size L, allows the use of prescription glasses up to 145 mm wide. The foam on the sides and the shape of the goggle skirt leave a passage exclusively for the temples.
Strap
Polyamide, polyester and rubber elastic, 40 mm high, 3 non-slip silicone strips
Microfiber and thermo-compressed case
Remember to protect the mask, and especially the screen, from scratches before and after use. The microfiber pouch also cleans the screen, making it ideal for scratch-free maintenance. It can be easily positioned over the mask screen to protect it from scratches at all times, during breaks for example.
The thermo-compressed pouch is ideal for storing your mask and protecting it from crushing during storage.
Colored flash screen
A colored coating on the outside of the ski mask screen (called color flash) reduces the % of light transmission reaching the eye, meaning less glare and greater visual clarity in bright conditions.
Please note that the screens are not scratch-resistant.
Prevent fogging
Moisture promotes fogging. So avoid soaking foam in moisture, and don't wear your ski mask over a wet helmet or cap. Falling face-on to the snow is a major factor in fogging. That's why, in all cases, you need to dry your ski mask thoroughly overnight, so as to eliminate all traces of moisture and be able to go skiing again the next day with a perfectly dry product.
